Satakunta

Satakunta is a region (maakunta / landskap) of Finland, part of the former Western Finland Province. It borders the regions of Finland Proper, Pirkanmaa, Southern Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia. The main city of the region is Pori. The name of the region literally means Hundred. The historical province of the same name was a larger area within Finland, covering modern Satakunta as well as much of Pirkanmaa.

Art Association NYTE

Art Association NYTE ry is founded in 1987 in Pori as an artist group and art association. It is as a launching platform for young artists in Satakunta Region. Art Association NYTE ry begun as an interdisciplinary artist group which included artists from various fields including, fine-art, Cinema and Live-Arts. Many of NYTE's activities take place in the social centre 3h+k. Which translates as 3 rooms and a kitchen. It includes a theatre, gallery space and computer resource room.

Central Pori Church

The Central Pori Church is a church in Gothic Revival style in the centre of the city of Pori, Western Finland. It is the largest church in region of Satakunta, and one of the largest in Finland. The church is also the main church of Pori. The church was built in between 1859 and 1863, when it was inaugurated. It is known for its unique church tower, which is made of cast iron. The tower is 72 metres tall. The church was designed by T. Chiewitz and C.J. von Heideken.

Porin Stadion

Porin jäähalli (or locally known as Isomäki or Isomäen Jäähalli) is an arena in Pori, Finland. It is primarily used for ice hockey, and is the home arena of hockey team Ässät. It opened in 1971 and holds 6,500 people.
