Öja (island)

Öja is an island in the Gulf of Bothnia in Kokkola (Karleby) municipality, Finland. It has an area of 90 square kilometres . Öja is also the name of a settlement on the island with a population of 800. Öja was an independent municipality until 1969, when it was consolidated to Kaarlela. Kaarlela was consolidated to Kokkola in 1977.

Jakobstad Church

Church of Jakobstad is a Lutheran church in the city of Jakobstad, Finland. It was constructed in 1731 by Johan Knubb. The church has been built on the same place, where the first church in Jakobstad was located before it was burned down by Russians in 1714.

Jakobstad Museum

Jakobstad Museum is a city museum in the city of Jakobstad, Finland. It was founded in 1904, but worked as a private museum until 1906. The museum is a historic museum which is concentrated on maritime and ship building. The main building of the museum is called Malmska gården.
