Château de Vallery

The Early Renaissance French Château de Vallery, in Vallery, in the département of Yonne in the Burgundy region of France, was built in 1548 for Jacques d'Albon de Saint-André, marquis de Fronsac, a court favorite of Henri II and maréchal de France. It was never completed, and what remains of it have been sadly mutilated. The site he chose was the ancient château-fort of Vallery, dating in part to the early thirteenth century; he purchased it 16 April 1548.

Lunain

The Lunain is a 51.4 km long river in the Yonne and Seine-et-Marne départements in north-central France. It is a tributary off the right bank of the Loing. Its source is in Yonne, less than 3 km south-west of Égriselles-le-Bocage. It joins the river Loing in Seine-et-Marne, at Épisy.

Château de Diant

The Château de Diant is a castle in the commune of Diant in the Seine-et-Marne département of France. The castle was originally constructed in the 13th century for a companion of Philippe Auguste, with additions and modifications in the 15th century and the first half of the 19th. The castle has been protected since 1946 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture. The gardens are also listed. The castle and gardens are privately owned are not open to the public.

Serres municipales de Sens

The Serres municipales de Sens (600 m²) are municipal greenhouses located in the Parc du Moulin à Tan at 28, Chemin de Babie, Sens, Yonne, Bourgogne, France. They are open every afternoon without charge. The greenhouses were constructed circa 1970 and restored in 2000. They contain about 1500 plant taxa organized into three distinct rooms: Cactus House - cactus and succulents.

Sens Cathedral

Sens Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral in Sens, Bourgogne, eastern France. It was one of the earliest Gothic buildings in the country, and the largest of the early Gothic churches. The choir was begun in 1140. As was typical in cathedral construction work progressed westwards, building the nave, with the west front completed around 1200. The structure was finally completed in the 16th century.
