Mâcon Cathedral

Mâcon Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Vincent de Mâcon) is a Roman Catholic church and former cathedral in Mâcon, Burgundy, France. It was formerly the seat of the Bishop of Mâcon, abolished under the Concordat of 1801 and merged into the Diocese of Autun. The present church was built between 1808 and 1818 under the supervision of the architect Alexandre de Gisors. Of its predecessor, known as "Vieux Saint-Vincent" (Old St. Vincent), there remain two towers, a narthex and a tympanum.

Clairvaux Abbey

Clairvaux Abbey (Clara Vallis in Latin) is a Cistercian monastery in Ville-sous-la-Ferté, 15 km from Bar-sur-Aube, in the Aube département in northeastern France. The original building, founded in 1115 by St. Bernard, is now in ruins; a high-security prison, the Clairvaux Prison, now occupies the grounds. Clairvaux Abbey was a good example of the general layout of a Cistercian monastery. The Abbey has been listed since 1926 as a Historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture.

Château de Chacenay

The Château de Chacenay is a castle situated in the commune of Chacenay, in the Aube département of France. Recorded since 1075, it was the fief of numerous great families over the years. Construction of the castle began in the 13th century. Sited at the heart of a forest, in the Middle Ages it formed an impregnable fortress thanks to its ramparts, keep (now destroyed), ditches, drawbridge and towers.
