Espace Pierres Folles

The Espace Pierres Folles (2 hectares) is a museum with geological exhibit and botanical garden located at 116 chemin du Pinay, St Jean des Vignes, Soissons, Aisne, Picardie, France. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The museum was established in 1987 on the former site of a cement works. Its ground floor presents the Earth's formation, emergence of life and its evolution over time, and fossils of the region; it also contains several aquariums.

Château de Châtillon-d'Azergues

The Château de Châtillon-d'Azergues is a ruined castle in the commune of Châtillon (formerly Châtillon-d'Azergues) in the Rhône département of France. The castle's construction is dated to the 13th and 15th centuries. All that remains of the castle is the keep and a tower. The 12th century Chapel of Saint-Barthélémy, known as Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours, is at the side of the castle. The castle is privately owned and closed to the public.

Sainte Marie de La Tourette

Sainte Marie de La Tourette is a Dominican Order priory in a valley near Lyon, France designed by architects Le Corbusier and Iannis Xenakis and constructed between 1956 and 1960. Le Corbusier's design of the building began in May, 1953 with sketches drawn at Arbresle, France outlining the basic shape of the building and terrain of the site. La Tourette is considered one of the more important buildings of the late Modernist style.

Lyon – Mont Verdun Air Base

Lyon - Mont Verdun Air Base (Base Aérienne 942) is located to the northwest of Lyon. It is a duplicate of the headquarters of the French Air Force nuclear strike force at Taverny Air Base - BA921 near Paris, with an underground command center. The location includes the South Sector Operations Center of the Commandement de la Défense Aérienne et des Opérations Aériennes (CDAOA or Air Defense and Operations Command), which is connected to NATO's Air Command and Control System (ACCS).

Azergues

The Azergues is a river in the Rhône department, in eastern France. It is a right tributary of the Saône, which it joins in Anse. Its source is in the Beaujolais hills, near Chénelette. The Azergues flows through the following towns: Lamure-sur-Azergues, Le Bois-d'Oingt, Chessy, Châtillon, Chazay-d'Azergues and Anse.
