Annecy Cathedral

Annecy Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Pierre d'Annecy) is a Roman Catholic cathedral, and national monument of France, in Annecy. It was built at the beginning of the 16th century by Jacques Rossel as a chapel for a Franciscan priory. During the French Revolution the building was used as a temple of the Goddess Reason. It was raised to the status of a cathedral in 1822 when the Diocese of Annecy was created from the Diocese of Chambéry.

Église Saint-Maurice, Annecy

Église Saint-Maurice (in English, St. Maurice Church) is a Roman Catholic church in Annecy, France. It is the oldest church in Annecy. It was originally built as a chapel of a Dominican convent in 1422, sponsored by Cardinal Jean-Allarmet de Brogny. The church has a Gothic style architecture. Chapels are built in different parts of the nave by noble families or artisan corporations from 1478 onwards, forming the present lower sides of the church.
