Le Bachut

Le Bachut is a quarter in the 8th arrondissement of Lyon. It is bisected the avenue Berthelot and rue Marius Berliet. Served by the tram, it is connected to the Presqu'île, to the Hôpital Édouard-Herriot and the university campus of Bron. In May 2007, the library of Bachut called Médiathèque Marguerite Duras was inaugurated, located at the Place du 11 November 1918. The Maison de la danse of Lyon is also in the quarter.

Stade de Gerland

The Stade de Gerland is a stadium, in the city of Lyon, France and home to Ligue 1 football club Olympique Lyonnais. It has a seating capacity of 40,500 people. Situated in the Gerland quarter, it is used by French professional football club Olympique Lyonnais, but OL is planning to move to a new stadium in 2013.

Palais des Sports de Gerland

Palais des Sports de Gerland is an indoor sporting arena located in Lyon, France. The seating capacity of the arena is for 5,910 people. It was the venue of the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon tournament. The arena was the regular home venue of ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne for European Champions cup games in the late 1970s and early 1980s, for which it had a maximum capacity for 10,000 spectators.

École Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines

The École Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines, or ENS LSH, was an elite French grande école specialising in the arts, humanities and social sciences. It was one of two Écoles normales supérieures (ENS) to be based in Lyon; the two came together in 2010 with the creation of the new École Normale Supérieure de Lyon.
