Batumi International Airport

Batumi International Airport is an airport located 2 km south of Batumi, a city on the Black Sea coast and capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia. The airport is 20 km northeast of Hopa, Turkey, and serves as a domestic and international airport for northeastern Turkey. Batumi is one of three international airports in operation in Georgia. The new airport terminal has been in operation since May 26, 2007.

Çoruh River

The Çoruh River rises in the Mescit Mountains in north-eastern Turkey, flows through the cities of Bayburt, Ispir, Yusufeli, and Artvin, along the Kelkit-Çoruh Fault, before flowing into Georgia, where it reaches the Black Sea just south of Batumi and a few kilometers north of the Turkish-Georgian border. In Arrian's Periplus Ponti Euxini, it is called the Άκαμψις Acampsis; Pliny may have confused it with the Bathys. In English, it was formerly known as the Boas, the Churuk, or the Chorokh.

Batumi

Batumi (Georgian: ბათუმი, formerly known as Batum) is a seaside city on the Black Sea coast and capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia. With a population of 180,000 (2008 census), Batumi serves as an important port and a commercial center. It is situated in a subtropical zone, rich in agricultural produce such as citrus fruit and tea. While industries of the city include shipbuilding, food processing, and light manufacturing, most of its economy revolves around tourism.

Tsentral Stadium (Batumi)

Tsentral Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Batumi, Georgia. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Dinamo Batumi. Originally the capacity of the stadium was 15,000. The stadium currently is able to hold 4,000 people.
