Kazreti

Kazreti is a small town in Georgia, Bolnisi district, in the region of Kvemo Kartli. The principal economic activity is mining. The largest employer in Kazreti is the Madneuli Mining Company. Gold and copper are the principle precious metals extracted at the mines in Kazreti. Historical research done in Georgia has shown that gold was mined in the area thousands of years ago. The mine in Kazreti was developed in 1970 during the Soviet era.

Bolnisi

Bolnisi, is a city in the country of Georgia, located in the Kvemo Kartli region and capital of the Bolnisi district. Currently has an estimated 13,800 inhabitants. In 1818 the colony Katharinenfeld was founded in Bolnisi by 95 German colonist families from Swabia. After the occupation of the Red Army in 1921, it was renamed to Luxemburg after the German communist Rosa Luxemburg. In 1941 all the Germans descendants who were not married to Georgians were deported to Siberia and Kazakhstan.

Tamaz Stephania Stadium

Tamaz Stephania Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Bolnisi, Georgia. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Sioni Bolnisi. The stadium is able to hold 3,000 people.

Bolnisi Sioni

Bolnisi Sioni or Bolnisi Sioni Cathedral is a Georgian Orthodox basilica in the Bolnisi village of Bolnisi District, Georgia. The cathedral was built in 478-493. It is the oldest extant church building in Georgia. Bolnisi Sioni Cathedral is known for its Georgian inscriptions. These are one of the oldest historical documents of the Georgian alphabet.
