Fils (river)

The Fils river is a 63 km long river in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, a right tributary of the Neckar. Its source is in the Swabian Alb hills near Wiesensteig. It flows through Geislingen (Steige) and Göppingen to join the Neckar in Plochingen, east of Stuttgart. Due to the contribution of the Fils, the Neckar is navigable from there.

Wendlingen (Neckar) station

Wendlingen (Neckar) station (formerly Unterboihingen station) is the only station in the town of Wendlingen in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and is a railway junction on the Neckar-Alb Railway from which the Teck Railway branches. It is served by regional trains and the Stuttgart S-Bahn.

Plochingen station

Plochingen station is the only station in the town of Plochingen in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and the most important railway junction of the Esslingen district. It is located 22.8 kilometres from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof on the Fils Valley Railway and at the beginning of the Neckar-Alb Railway.

Bachem Ba 349

The Bachem Ba 349 Natter (English: Viper, Adder) was a World War II German point-defence rocket powered interceptor, which was to be used in a very similar way to a manned surface-to-air missile. After vertical take-off, which eliminated the need for airfields, the majority of the flight to the Allied bombers was to be controlled by an autopilot.
