Lower Lusatian Ridge Nature Park

The Lower Lusatian Ridge Nature Park (German: Naturpark Niederlausitzer Landrücken) is a nature park and reserve in the state of Brandenburg, Germany. It covers an area of 580 km² (224 sq mi). It was established on September 9, 1997.

Overburden Conveyor Bridge F60

F60 is the series designation of five overburden conveyor bridges used in brown coal (lignite) opencast mining in the Lusatian coalfields in Germany. They were built by the former Volkseigener Betrieb TAKRAF in Lauchhammer and are the largest movable technical industrial machines in the world. As overburden conveyor bridges, they transport the overburden which lies over the coal seam. The cutting height is 60 m, hence the name F60.

Fuhrländer Wind Turbine Laasow

Fuhrländer Wind Turbine Laasow is a wind turbine, built in 2006 near the village of Laasow, Brandenburg, Germany. It consists of a 160 metre lattice tower, which carries a rotor 90 metres in diameter. Until two slightly taller wind turbines opened in Poland in 2012, Fuhrländer was the tallest wind turbine in the world. The power output is 2.5 MW.
