Saasen is a village in the municipality Reiskirchen, district Gießen in Hesse. The place includes the parts Bollnbach, Veitsberg and Wirberg, a former castle. The village is located east of the main town, in the valley of Busecker tal and at the Wieseck in central Hesse. A few hundred metres south of Saasen stands the Bundestraße 49, Saasen has also a train stop on the Vogelsbergbahn. There is no through traffic, because the road is located a few hundred metres.
