3rd Armoured Brigade (Bundeswehr)

The 3rd (Weser-Leine) Armoured Brigade (German: Panzerbrigade 3 "Weser-Leine") was a brigade in the German Army that was disbanded in 1994. It was headquartered in Nienburg in north Germany. The Brigade's centre of gravity was in eastern Lower Saxony. Its last brigade commander was Colonel Friedrich-Johann von Krusenstiern.

Landesbergen (Samtgemeinde)

Landesbergen is a former Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Nienburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its seat was in the village Landesbergen. At the 1 November 2011 local government reform, the Samtgemeinde Landesbergen and the municipality Stolzenau formed the new Samtgemeinde Mittelweser. Giebichenstein

The Giebichenstein in Stöckse, Germany, is one of the biggest erratic blocks of Northern Germany. A picture of the Giebichenstein is part of the emblem of Stöckse. There is the supposition, while during Wolstonian Stage the stone was deposited by glaciers as a part of a moraine.
