Sankt Goar-Oberwesel is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the Rhein-Hunsrück district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Oberwesel station

Oberwesel Central Station is on the West Rhine Railway between Koblenz and Mainz in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station. It is in the southern part of the town of Oberwesel and is served by Regional-Express services operated by Deutsche Bahn and Regionalbahn trains operated by trans regio Deutsche Regionalbahn.

Lorelei

The Lorelei is a rock on the eastern bank of the Rhine near St. Goarshausen, Germany, which soars some 120 metres above the waterline. It marks the narrowest part of the river between Switzerland and the North Sea, and is the most famous feature of the Rhine Gorge, a 65 km section of the river between Koblenz and Bingen that was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in June 2002. A very strong current and rocks below the waterline have caused many boat accidents there.

Rheinfels Castle

Rheinfels Castle is a castle ruin located above the left (East) bank of the Rhein in Sankt Goar, Germany. It was started in 1245 by Count Diether V of Katzenelnbogen. After expansions, it was the largest fortress in the Middle Rhein Valley between Koblenz and Mainz. It was slighted by French Revolutionary Army troops in 1797. It is the largest castle overlooking the Rhine,{{#invoke:Footnotes|sfn}} and historically covered five times its current area.
