Voutyro

Voutyro is a small village located 6 kilometers south-west of Karpenisi, the capital of Evrytania, Greece. Voutyro is known by UNESCO as one of the five most environmentally clean areas in the world. Voutyro is a traditional village of about 150 residents, part of the municipal unit of Karpenisi. Papparousi

Papparousi is a small village in Evrytania, Greece. It is part of the municipality of Karpenisi. The name Papparousi came from a priest that lived there and his last name was Roussos. There are two parts of the village: Dytiko Papparousi, and Papparousi. The population of the village is 163 (2001 census).

Marathia, Evrytania

Marathia is a village located in southeastern Evrytania, Greece. It is located near the town of Fragkista. In the 1990s the village became part of the Anatoliki Fragkista. The current population of the village is roughly 100 inhabitants year round. In the summer it grows to almost 500 people. The village is separated into "neighborhoods". The most Northern village is called Amerigani. The central area, also the largest, simply called Meseo or central Marathia.

Greek National Road 38

Greek National Road 38 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 38, abbreviated as EO38) is a single carriageway road in western and central Greece. It connects Thermo with Lamia, via Agrinio and Karpenisi. It passes through the regional units Aetolia-Acarnania, Evrytania and Phthiotis. The section between Agrinio and Lamia coincides with the European route E952.
