Gournia is the site of a Minoan palace complex on the island of Crete, Greece, excavated in the early 20th century by the American archaeologist, Harriet Boyd-Hawes. Gournia lies in the municipality of Ierapetra in the prefecture of Lasithi.

Episkopi, Lasithi

Episkopi Ierapetras is a village on the Greek island of Crete. Episkopi belongs to the municipality of Ierapetra in the prefecture of Lasithi. It lies north of Ierapetra in the middle of the narrowest part of the island. The village has approximately one thousand inhabitants. The village was established during the Minoan period, probably between 2500 and 2000 BCE. Is located 6.5 km north of Ierapetra on the road from Agios Nikolaos to Ierapetra at 120 m a.s.l.

Meseleroi

Meseleroi is a village in the east of the Greek island of Crete, in the regional unit of Lasithi. It is located 9km north of Ierapetra, and lies within its administrative limits. The village is 360 meters above sea level. Meseleroi is named after the ancient town Oleros, as it is located in the middle . A few ancient ruins in the area still survive to this day.
