Kornos, Greece

Kornos is a traditional village of Lemnos, North Aegean, Greece. It is well known for its characteristic neoclassical mansions and the pastries produced in a local small industry. Administratively it belongs to the municipal unit of Myrina, the capital of Lemnos. The first written reference to the village was in 1361 and it flourished during Turkish occupation, when it was one of the richest villages of the island with population of more than 2000 people.

Platy, Lemnos

Platy is a small village on Lemnos island in Greece. It is located in the southwestern part of the island, between the village of Thanos and the main city, Myrina. The village's population during the winter is about 200 people, and in summer it's about 600.

Lychna

Lychna is a village and a community in the island of Lemnos, Greece. In 2001 its population was 132 people for the village, and 338 for the community, which includes the village Anemoessa. It is part of the municipal unit of Moudros. It is situated at about one kilometer from the swampy shore of the bay of Moudros, at 10 m elevation. It is 1.5 km south of Varos, 2 km northwest of Romanou, 4 km north of Moudros and 18 km east of Myrina.
