Ithome

Mount Ithome or Ithomi, previously Vourkano or Vurcano before being changed back to Ithome, is the northernmost of twin peaks in Messenia, Greece. Mount Ithome rises to about 800 metres, about 760 metres over Valyra, the seat of Ithomi, the former municipality. The other peak is Mount Eva, 700 metres, connected to Mount Ithomi by a thin ridge 0.80 kilometres long.

Agios Floros

Agios Floros is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Arfara, Messenia, southern Greece. The community consists of the villages Agios Floros and Christofilaiika. It is located on the National Road 7 Kalamata - Corinth, about 20 km north of Kalamata. The population of the community was 302 in 2001, of which 253 in Agios Floros proper and 49 in Christofilaiika.

Koromilea is a village located in the central, mountainous area of Messenia, Greece. It is a settlement of roughly 100 inhabitants, administratively belonging to the municipal unit Trikorfo. The main occupation of the inhabitants, historically, is livestock and mixed farming. Koromilea is well known in the area for the feasting which takes place every 14 and 15 of August in honour of the religious event of the Dormition.

Triodos Airport

Triodos Airport, also known as Triodhon Airport, is an airport in the regional unit of Messenia in Greece. It is located 7 km from the town of Messini and 17 km from the city Kalamata. Triodos Airport was used for 20 years for civil aviation. Due to the need of a longer runway, on 19 July 1970 planes were transferred to the Kalamata International Airport. Today, it is used for ultralight aviation and by radio-controlled aircrafts.
