Agiokampos, Larissa

Agiokampos is a village in the municipality of Agia, in the Larissa regional unit in Greece. It has 285 inhabitants (2001 census). It is a beach resort. Agiokampos' beach along with Velika's and Sotiritsa's has a length of 14 km (~8.5 miles) and are the most popular beach in the regional unit of Larissa with masses of tourists coming every summer mainly from Hungary, Czech Republic and the entire Greece.

Greek National Road 3

Greek National Road 3 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 3, abbreviated as EO3) is a single carriageway road in Greece. It connects Eleusis near Athens with the border of the Republic of Macedonia at Niki. It passes through Larissa and Florina. At Niki it connects with the M5K motorway to Bitola. Greek National Road 3 is one of the longest highways in Greece and up until the 1960s it served as the main route from Larissa to Thessaloniki. The new A1 motorway now offers a faster connection to Thessaloniki.

Neapolis Arena

Neapoli Indoor Hall is an indoor basketball sporting arena and indoor volleyball court that is located in the city of Larissa, Greece in the district of Neapolis. The seating capacity of the arena is 6,500 seats. The arena is currently home to the local basketball team GS Olympia, which competes in the A2 Ethniki league and the volleyball team EA Larissa (EAL).

AEL FC Arena

AEL FC Arena is the new home ground of Greek football club AEL 1964 FC. The stadium was developed in a total of 144,000 square meters in the Mezourlo Hill, district of Neapolis, Larissa. Construction of the stadium started in September 2009 and was completed in November 2010. According to UEFA stadium categories, AEL FC Arena, is rated as category three of four, (renamed from elite) in ascending ranking order.

Phylace (Magnesia)

Phylace was a Thessalian city west of the Gulf of Pagasae. According to Greek mythology, this city was founded by Phylacus. In Ancient Greece, Phylace was a kingdom. Its king, Protesilaus, was the first Greek hero killed in the Trojan War. Phylace today is a tiny village in the Magnesia regional unit, in central Greece, near Almyros.
