The Titarisios (Greek: Τιταρήσιος, formerly Ξεριάς - Xerias) is a in Thessaly, a major tributary of the Pineios. The river begins at the western part of Mount Olympus and flows west, then southwest and merges with the Pineios. The tributary is at 70 m above sea level and its long length is only flooded. Alcazar Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Larissa, Greece part of the National Sports Complex of Larissa (Εθνικό Αθλητικό Κέντρο Λάρισας-Ε. Α. Κ. Λ.). It got its nickname because it is located in the Alcazar park, in Larisa, which was named after the arabic name for the park which means "The Castle". Larissa Airport Thessaly (Greek: Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Λάρισσας “Θεσσαλία”) was built in 1912. It was the commercial airport of Larissa until 1997 when it closed.
