Lycée français Albert Camus

The Lycée Français Albert Camus (or LAC) is a small French secondary school situated in Conakry, Guinea. It caters for 750 students between the ages of 3 and 18, and teaches predominantly in French. Its curriculum and management are overseen by the French National Ministry of Education through the Agency for the Teaching of French Abroad (AEFE). The Lycée has pupils of 37 nationalities. The school closed for a while due to the political instability of September 2009.

University of Conakry

The Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry, also known as the University of Conakry is the largest university in Guinea. Until 1984 known as the Polytechnical Institute of Conakry it was the first higher education institution in Guinea. It was built with technical assistance from the Soviet Union in 1963. The school is located in Conakry.

Stade du 28 Septembre

Stade 28 Septembre is a multi-purpose stadium in Conakry, Guinea. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 people. In an attempt to host the 2016 African Cup of Nations (ANC), or Coupe d'Afrique des Nations (CAN) in French, proposals have been made to upgrade or reconstruct the 28 September Stadium to an all seater capacity of 75,000–80,000 people.
