Chinese University of Hong Kong

The Chinese University of Hong Kong is the second oldest university in Hong Kong. The CUHK is internationally known for its achievements in physics and mathematics. It is the only tertiary education institution in Hong Kong with former and present faculty members being Nobel Prize Laureates, such as Chen Ning Yang, James Mirrlees, Robert Alexander Mundell and former University President Charles K. Fo Tan

Fo Tan is a suburb of Sha Tin District, Hong Kong. It was developed as a light industrial area, but this activity has declined markedly in recent years. There are residential areas to the east, alongside the MTR line, and in the foothills to the west.

Ma Liu Shui

Ma Liu Shui or originally Ma Niu Shui (馬尿水) is an area in Sha Tin District, in the New Territories, Hong Kong. The area faces Tide Cove (Sha Tin Hoi) and Tolo Harbour. The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Science Park are located in Ma Liu Shui. There is a ferry pier, from which regular ferry services run to remote areas including Tap Mun and Ping Chau in the northeast New Territories.

Lead Mine Pass

Lead Mine Pass is a mountain pass in the New Territories, Hong Kong. It is near Grassy Hill and two walking trails, MacLehose Trail (Stages 7 & 8) and Wilson Trail (Stages 7 & 8) intersect at the pass. The pass lies to the north of Shing Mun Reservoir.

Sha Tin College

Sha Tin College is a co-educational international secondary school in Hong Kong and a member of the English Schools Foundation. Established in 1982 as the Shatin Annexe based in the campus of KGV School in Kowloon Tong, the school relocated to 3 Lai Wo Lane, Fo Tan in 1985, adopting its present name. While most students follow the I/GCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma programmes, the BTEC Extended Diploma was also offered as a pilot programme from August 2011.
