Interesting facts about this location

North Point

North Point is a mixed-use urban area in the Eastern District of Hong Kong. It is the northernmost point of Hong Kong Island, adjacent to both Causeway Bay and Quarry Bay, and projecting toward Kowloon Bay. The eastern part of Fortress Hill (places western to the Causeway Bay Community Center) belongs to the western end of the North Point area.

Hong Kong Shue Yan University

Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU or SYU), formerly Hong Kong Shue Yan College, is the first private liberal arts university in Hong Kong. It was founded in 1971. The university offers 4-year degree programmes in Hong Kong. SYU was recognized as the first private university in Hong Kong by the order of the Chief Executive in Council on 19 December 2006.

Wharf Road

Wharf Road is a road parallel to the north shore of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It is situated in North Point. It ends east in Tong Shui Road and joins west with City Garden Road. The road named after a wharf owned by a precursor of Hutchison Whampoa. The wharf and godown was redeveloped into a private housing estate Provident Centre. In 2001, ICAC intended to build a new headquarters at the east end of the road near Tong Shui Road.

Island Eastern Corridor

Island Eastern Corridor is an expressway along the Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It starts from Causeway Bay in the west and ends in Chai Wan in the east. It is part of Route 4. The section between Causeway Bay and Quarry Bay consists mainly of viaducts built along Victoria Harbour.
