There are two beaches at Clear Water Bay, namely Clear Water Bay 1st beach and Clear Water Bay 2nd beach. The name is also used to describe the area around the bay on the peninsula.

Cape Collinson
Cape Collinson, also Hak Kok Tau (黑角頭), is a cape located near Ngan Wan between Siu Sai Wan and Big Wave Bay in the east most point of the Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It faces Tathong Channel. The cape is named for Colonel Thomas Bernard Collinson http://members. cox. net/ghgraham/thomascollinson1821. html, a Royal Engineers surveyor in Hong Kong (1821-1902) and later in New Zealand. He help survey Hong Kong Island in the 1840s.
