National Waterway 4 (India)

National Waterway 4 (NW-4) is a 1,095 kilometres long waterway in India. It has been declared as an Indian National Waterway and is currently under development. It connects the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and the union territory of Puducherry. The NW-4 runs along the Coromandal Coast through Kakinada, Eluru, Commanur, Buckingham Canals and also through part of Krishna and Godavari rivers in South India.

Peravaram

Peravaram is a village located in Atreyapuram mandal, East Godavari District in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh with population of about 4,000 people. This village has boundaries on the East at Godavari river, on the West by the main canal, on the North by Bobbarlanka village and on the South, by cropland. Peravaram has potable drinking water, irrigation canals, drainage system, panchayat, veterinary hospital, RMP doctors, Indiramma houses, two primary schools and one high school.

Dowleswaram Barrage

The Dowleswaram Barrage is an irrigation structure which is built on the last stretch of the Godavari River before it empties into the Bay of Bengal. It was built by a British irrigation engineer, Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton. Godavari Bridge

The Godavari Bridge or Kovvur-Rajahmundry Bridge is a truss bridge spanning Godavari river in Rajahmundry, India. It is Asia's second longest road-cum-rail bridge crossing a water body, after the Sky Gate Bridge in Kansai International Airport, Osaka. It is second of the three bridges that span the Godavari River at Rajahmundry. The Havelock Bridge being the earliest, was built in 1897, and having served its full utility, was decommissioned in 1997.
