Naugama

Naugama is a small village in Banswara District of Rajasthan State, India. It is situated in Bagidora Tehsil. History : The village is believed to have been created by refugees of 9 villages from Rajasthan and Gujarat states during an old famine. The word Nau-gama is derived from 9 (Nau) Villages (Gam). The population is around 5000 as of 2009. However, if we add nearby newly created villages it touches 12000. However officially it is still 5000.

Shahjahanpur district

Shahjahanpur district is one of the historical districts of Uttar Pradesh in the republic of India. It is a part of Bareilly division which is situated in South East of Rohilkhand Division. It was established in 1813 by the British Government. Previously it was a part of district Bareilly. Geographically the main town is Shahjahanpur city which is its headquarter. Its Tehsils are: Powayan, Tilhar, Jalalabad, and Sadar.
