Bratan

Bratan or Catur or Tjatur contains three caldera lakes at the north of Bali island. The volcanic complex covers 11 × 6 km wide area. The largest post-caldera cone within the complex is Gunung Batukaru.

Eka Karya Botanic Garden or Bali Botanic Garden is a botanic garden in Bedugul, Bali, for botanical research, conservation, education and recreation. Pura Ulun Danu Bratan

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Shivaite and water temple on Bali, Indonesia — the other major water temple being Pura Ulun Danu Batur. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. Water temples serve the entire region in the outflow area; downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association.

1917 Bali earthquake

The 1917 Bali earthquake occurred at 06:50 local time on 21 January . It had an estimated magnitude of 6.6 on the surface wave magnitude scale and had a maximum perceived intensity of IX (Violent) on the Mercalli intensity scale. It caused widespread damage across Bali, particularly in the south of the island. It triggered many landslides, which caused 80% of the 1500 casualties.

Singaraja

Singaraja is the regency seat of Buleleng, Bali, Indonesia. The name is Indonesian for "Lion King". It is on the north coast just east of Lovina. It has an area of 27.98 km² and population of 80,500. Singaraja was the Dutch colonial administrative centre for Bali and the Lesser Sunda Islands from 1849 until 1953, and the port of arrival for most visitors until development of the Bukit Peninsula area in the south.
