Interesting facts about this location


Cinere is a district north of the city of Depok in Jawa Barat province, approximately 15 kilometers south of Jakarta. It has a population of 113,716. Like many of Java's cities, Cinere has a large multi-racial population as a result of long-term transmigration from Java and Sumatra, that began in the late 1960s. Cinere is served by Pondok Cabe Airport, although the airport doesn't handle commercial flights.

Cilandak, South Jakarta

Cilandak is a subdistrict of South Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. Krukut River flows through the eastern edge of Cilandak, while Pesanggrahan and Grogol River flow through the western edge of Cilandak. The southern portion of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road passed through Cilandak Subdistrict.

Ragunan Zoo

Ragunan Zoo is a 140-hectare zoo located in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Indonesia. It is home to over 270 species of animals, 171 species of flora, and employs over 450 people. Many of the animals are endangered and threatened from all parts of Indonesia and the rest of the world. There are a total of 3,122 animal specimens including birds.

Cipayung is a subdistrict (kecamatan) of East Jakarta, Indonesia. The boundaries of Cipayung are Pondok Gede Raya Road to the North, Sunter River to the East, and Jagorawi Tollway to the West. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) or "Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park" (literally translated) is a culture-based recreational area located in East Jakarta, Indonesia. It has an area of about 250 acres . The park is a synopsis of Indonesian culture, with virtually all aspects of daily life in Indonesia's 26 (in 1975) provinces encapsulated in separate pavilions with the collections of Indonesian architecture, clothing, dances and traditions are all depicted impeccably.
