Mount Salak Sukhoi Superjet 100 crash

The Mount Salak Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) crash occurred on 9 May 2012 when an SSJ-100 aircraft crashed on a demonstration flight operating from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, Indonesia. On 10 May, the wreckage of the Sukhoi Superjet was spotted on a cliff in Mount Salak, a volcano in the province of West Java.

Bogor Palace

Istana Bogor is one of 6 Presidential Palaces in Indonesia. The palace is noted for its distinctive architectural, historical, features, as well as the adjoining botanical gardens. Istana Bogor was opened to the public in 1968 to public tour groups (not individuals), with the permission of the then President of Indonesia, Suharto. The number of visitors annually is approximately 10,000 people. The gardens of the palace have an area of 284,000 square metres.

Bogor Botanical Gardens

The Bogor Botanical Gardens (Indonesian: Kebun Raya Bogor) is a botanical garden located in Bogor, Indonesia, 60 km south of Jakarta. The gardens are in the city center and adjoin the Istana Bogor (Presidential Palace). The gardens cover more than 80 hectares.

Pajajaran Stadium

Pajajaran Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Bogor, Indonesia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is used as the home venue for PSB Bogor. The stadium holds 12,000 people. Perbakti

Perbakti is an eroded stratovolcano at the west of Mount Salak in West Java, Indonesia. The summit is elongated in a northwest-southwest direction, in which Gunung Endut volcano rises above a saddle of Perbakti. Two 2 km wide of depressions on the northern and the southern side has formed two rivers, the Kaluwung Herang and Pamatutan rivers. Fumaroles, mud pots and hot springs are located on the south and the southeast flanks.
