Takhti Stadium (Ahvaz)

The Takhti Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Ahvaz, Iran. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium is able to hold 30,000 people. As of October 2007, only Esteghlal Ahvaz F.C. are allowed to use the Takhti Stadium. Foolad and Shahin Ahvaz have been asked to look for new home stadiums. The stadium is set to be rebuilt in 2013 after the opening of Ghadir Stadium.
