Lar Dam

Lar Dam is a dam located at the foot of Mount Damavand. The dam is located within the protected Lar National Park and situated just 70 kilometers northeast of the capital and the most populous city of the country, Tehran. The primary purpose of the dam is municipal water supply to Tehran but prior to the water reaching the city filtration plant, it is used to power the Kalan and Lavarak Hydroelectric Power Stations, with a combined installed capacity of 162.5 MW.

Imam Hossein University

The Imam Hossein University is a military university that belongs to IRGC. It was established in 1986 and was aimed to train officers for IRGC. It is located in Tehran, Shahid Babaei Highway near Tehran-Pars Fourth Square, and Hakimiyeh. It is sometimes referred to as "IHU". It is named after Imam Hossein, a grandson of the Islamic prophet, who was killed in 680. IHU has a military structure. Unlike other universities, IHU is organized like a military structure.

Pardis Technology Park

Pardis Technology Park is an technology park, based in Pardis, a satellite city 20 kilometres outside of the Tehran metropolitan area, in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The park is located adjacent to a Telecommunication Company of Iran Satellite Earth Station, at the foot of the Alborz mountains. Land has been allocated here for the establishment of business related to technology. The site enjoys a panoramic view of the tallest mountain in Iran, Mount Damavand.
