Amirli
For the place in Azerbaijan, see Əmirli. Amirli is a town near Kirkuk in northern Iraq. It has a population of 26000 mainly from Iraq's Turkoman ethnic minority. Amirli is located in Salah ad Din Governorate near the border with Diyala Governorate. The town is the centre of a farming region.
