Drumcondra is a railway station on the Dublin Connolly to Maynooth commuter service. A limited number of Sligo and Longford to Dublin services stop at Drumcondra. It serves Drumcondra, Dublin, Ireland and is the nearest railway station for Croke Park. It is elevated with just the entrance on the main Drumcondra road.

Mater Dei Institute of Education (Irish: Institiúid Oideachais Mater Dei) is a linked college of Dublin City University since 1999, located in Drumcondra, Dublin City, Ireland, near Croke Park, on the site of what was formerly Clonliffe College, the Roman Catholic Seminary for the Archdiocese of Dublin. The college has been in existence since 1966 when it was founded as an institute for the training and formation for teachers of religion in secondary schools in the Republic of Ireland.

Croke Park

Croke Park is a sports stadium located in Dublin, Ireland. Often called Croker by Dubliners, it serves both as the principal stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Since 1884 the site has been used primarily by the GAA to host Gaelic games, most notably the annual All-Ireland finals in football and hurling.

Hill 16

Hill 16 officially called Dineen/Hill 16 is a terrace on the railway end of Croke Park, the show-piece stadium of the Gaelic Athletic Association in Dublin City, Ireland. It is considered a national icon. When Croke Park was first used for Gaelic games the Railway End of the park was little more than a mound of earth. Its name is believed to come from the fact that in 1917 the rubble from the 1916 Easter Rising was used to build a more permanent terrace at that end of the ground.

Mountjoy Square

Mountjoy Square, one of five Georgian squares in Dublin, Ireland, lies on the north side of the city just under a kilometre from the River Liffey. Planned and developed in the late 18th century by the second Luke Gardiner, then Viscount Mountjoy, the square is surrounded on all sides by individual terraced, red-brick Georgian houses. Construction began in the early 1790s and the work was completed in 1818.
