Mount Venus

Mount Venus (or Cill an Véineas in Irish) is a sacred megalithic site in Edmondstown, County Dublin, Ireland on the Mount Venus Road. It is a national heritage site. It has been described by Borlase as one of the most magnificent in the world. It encompasses a massive cap stone weighing in at 44 tons. It is partly collapsed on its supports and overgrown. The capstone lies against a single large upright megalith. When it was complete it would have been a 15 ft . high chamber entrance.

Tallaght Stadium

Tallaght Stadium is a football stadium in the Southside suburb of Tallaght, Dublin. Shamrock Rovers F.C. originally announced details of the stadium in July 1996. The stadium is now owned and operated by South Dublin County Council with Shamrock Rovers as the anchor tenants.

The Square Shopping Centre

The Square Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in Tallaght in South Dublin. It is located at the junction of the Belgard Road dual carriageway and the N81 and is beside the Luas Red Line terminus (see thumbnail). The shopping centre opened on 23 October 1990 to a crowd of 45,000 by An Taoiseach at the time Charles Haughey.
