Tullynally Castle

Tullynally Castle is a large country house (also known as Pakenham Hall Castle) situated some 2 km from Castlepollard on the Coole village road in County Westmeath, Ireland. The gothic style building has over 120 rooms and has been home to the Pakenham family (now the Earls of Longford) for over 350 years. The house is now surrounded by 12 acres of gardens, including woodland gardens and walled gardens laid out in the early 19th century with a limestone grotto and ornamental lakes.

Lough Derravaragh

Lough Derravaragh is a lough in County Westmeath, Ireland, north of Mullingar between Castlepollard, Collinstown, Crookedwood and Multyfarnham. Knockeyon, 214 m high, one of the highest points in Westmeath, situated on the southeastern lake shore, dominates the surrounding countryside. Lough Derravaragh sits on the River Inny which flows from Lough Sheelin on its way to the River Shannon. Shaped somewhat like Italy, it is a popular lake for angling and other watersports.

St. Fintan's, Multyfarnham GAC

Multyfarnham is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in the parish of Multyfarnham in County Westmeath, Ireland. The club competes in the Westmeath Junior Football Championship and are currently in Division 3 of the All County League. The Club also has a top class youth structure. The current club chairman is Patrick Wallace, Secretary John Moran and Treasurer Brendan Coghlan.

Lough Sheelin

Lough Sheelin is a limestone freshwater lough in Ireland located in County Westmeath, County Meath and County Cavan near the villages of Finnea (also spelled Finea) and Mountnugent and the town of Granard,. The lake is naturally populated by brown trouts whose native stocks had depleted in recent years, hence the Central Fisheries Board stocking with farm reared the lake for the pleasure of anglers. Trout stocks are estimated to be over 100,000.

Lough Owel

Lough Owel is a lough in the Midlands of Ireland, situated north of Mullingar, the county town of Westmeath. It is a deep lake, well known amongst anglers, and holds a few char along with brown trout. Water from Lough Owel feeds the Royal Canal, a canal crossing Ireland from Dublin to the River Shannon. Access to the lake can be gained from a carpark and pier to the south of the N4 Mullingar to Longford route.
