Doonbeg Golf Club

Doonbeg Golf Club is a traditional links type course situated in County Clare, Ireland, about forty minutes west of Shannon airport. Designed by Greg Norman and opened in 2002, the geography was hardly changed as the course was fitted into the area provided. The complex hosts a 5 star hotel, spa, cottages and reception rooms.

West Clare Railway

The West Clare Railway (WCR) originally operated in County Clare, Ireland between 1887 and 1961, and has partially re-opened. This 3 gauge narrow gauge railway ran from the county town of Ennis, via numerous stopping-points along the West Clare coast to two termini, at Kilrush and Kilkee (the routes diverging at Moyasta Junction).

Kilrush Marina

Kilrush Marina is a locked marina in Kilrush Harbour, Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland. It has a well equipped marina services building, with an extensive boatyard, including a large indoor boat storage and repair facility. Many boats from other leisure boating centres on the West Coast of Ireland winter in Kilrush. Originally funded by Shannon Development the marina has grown to be an integral part of the local economy.

Mullagh, County Clare

Mullagh (Irish: Mullach meaning "hill" or "mound") is a village in County Clare, Ireland. It lies not far from the Atlantic coast, some 5 km southeast of Quilty and 6.5 km south-southeast of Spanish Point. Nearby towns include Miltown Malbay (7 km to the north) and Kilrush (22 km to the south).

Inis Cathaigh

Inis Cathaigh or Scattery Island is an island in the Shannon Estuary, Ireland. It lies off the coast of Kilrush, County Clare. The island is home to a lighthouse, a ruined monastery, an Irish round tower and the remains of an artillery battery. The Irish name Inis Cathaigh was formerly anglicised Iniscathy, which later became Iniscattery and finally Scattery.
