Dunmanus Bay

Dunmanus Bay is a bay in County Cork, Ireland. The bay lies between Mizen Head to the south and Sheep's Head to the north with the small village of Durrus at the head of the bay. The bay is out of the main tidal flow with no significant rivers flowing into it and is little frequented by vessels. On the eastern shore of the bay are the ruins of Dunmanus Castle built by the O'Mahony clan.

Mount Gabriel

Mount Gabriel is a mountain on the Mizen Peninsula situated immediately to the north of the town of Schull, in West Cork, Ireland. Mt. Gabriel is 407m high and is the highest eminence in the coastal zone south and east of Bantry Bay. A roadway serving the radar installations on the summit is open to the public. From the peak of Mt. Gabriel, there are spectacular views South over Schull Harbour and Long Island Bay.

Shiro (restaurant)

Shiro is a former restaurant in Ahakista, County Cork, Ireland. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1996-2001. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant the "Red M", indicating 'good food at a reasonable price', in the period 1988-1995. The Egon Ronay Guide awarded the restaurant one star in the period 1988-1989. The kitchen style was Japanese and Sushi.

Caher Mountain

Caher Mountain (Irish: Cathair = "stone ring-fort") is a hill, 338 metres high, with spectacular views on the Sheep's Head peninsula, roughly west of and above the village of Kilcrohane in County Cork, Ireland.
