O'Brien's Tower marks the highest point of the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Ireland, located a short distance from the village Doolin, famous for its traditional Irish music. The tower is also near Liscannor a coastal village famous for its slate flagstones which were used for fencing purposes.

St Brigid's Well

Background In Irish mythology, Brigid, Brigit or Brighit ("exalted one") was possibly the daughter of the Dagda (and therefore one of the Tuatha Dé Danann) and wife of Bres of the Fomorians. She had two sisters, also named Brighid, and maybe considered a Celtic Triple Goddess. Brigid was the goddess of the Sacred Flame of Kildare and the patron goddess of the Druids.

Doonagore Castle

Doonagore Castle is a round 16th-century tower house with a small walled enclosure located about 1 km above the coastal village of Doolin in County Clare, Ireland. Its name may mean "the fort of the rounded hills" or the "fort of the goats"; it sits on a hill overlooking Doolin Point and, along with a nearby higher radio mast, is used as a navigational point by boats approaching Doolin Pier. Doonagore Castle is at present a private holiday home, inaccessible to the public.

Aille River

The Aille River in County Clare in Ireland rises on the slopes of Slieve Elva in the Burren. It flows through the spa town of Lisdoonvarna and on to Doolin, where it reaches the sea near the base of the Cliffs of Moher. Flowing through Lisdoonvarna it gives rise to famous sulphur, iron, and magnesium wells there. In summer, the river often disappears into the limestone cave system in Doolin.
