Cavan Gaels is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from County Cavan in Ireland. They are affiliated to Cavan GAA. Cavan Gaels have appeared in nine of the last ten Cavan Senior Football Championship finals. They are the current title holders after beating Gowna 0-15 to 0-11 in the 2007 final at Breffni Park. Crossdoney

Crossdoney or Crosdoney (Irish: Cros Domhnaigh, meaning "cross of the church") is a village in County Cavan, Ireland. Situated on the R154 regional road where it terminates at a junction with the R198. Peculiarly, all buildings in the village sit on one side of the road, and this gives rise to the widely used local expression: "All to one side like Crossdoney".

County Cavan (Irish: Contae an Chabháin) is a county in Ireland. It is part of the Border Region and is also located in the province of Ulster. It is named after the town of Cavan. Cavan County Council is the local authority for the county. The population of the county is 73,183 according to the 2011 census.

Drumkilly

Drumkilly is a rural community in County Cavan, Ireland. Situated in the parish of Crosserlough, Drumkilly has its own school and church, St. Joseph's N. S and St. Joseph's Church, which are located beside each other in the townland of Drumkilly. Drumkilly also had its own Gaelic football team in the past, but since the 1950s, footballers from the area have played with Crosserlough GFC.

St Fethlimidh's Cathedral, Kilmore

St Fethlimidh's Cathedral, Kilmore is one of two cathedral churches in the diocese of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh (the other is St John the Baptist Cathedral, Sligo) in the Church of Ireland. It is situated in the town of Kilmore, on the outskirts of Cavan town, Co Cavan, Ireland in the ecclesiastical province of Armagh. The cathedral stands on an elevated wooded site adjacent to Lough Oughter.
