Hula massacre
The Hula massacre took place between 31 October and 1 November 1948. Hula (Hule) was a village in Lebanon 3 km west of Kibbutz Manara, not far from the Litani River. It was captured on October 24 by the Carmeli Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces without any resistance at all. Between 35 and 58 captured men were executed in a house which was later blown up on top of them. Revenge was the motive. Two officers were responsible for the massacre.

Kiryat Shmona Municipal Stadium
The Kiryat Shmona Municipal Stadium is a football stadium in Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel. It is home to Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona Opened in 1989, the stadium has undergone extensive renovations as the club has climbed from the regional leagues to the Premier League. New plastic seats replaced concrete ones, the pitch was relaid, broadcast facilities built and floodlights erected.

Tel-Hai Academic College is a college located in Tel Hai in northern Israel, near Kibbutz Kfar Giladi and north of Kiryat Shmona. The college offers academic and continuing education programs for approximately 4,500 students, 70 percent of whom come from outside the Galilee. Minorities comprise about 10 percent of the student body. The college offers degrees in life sciences, social sciences, computer science and the humanities.

Kiryat Shmona Airport
Kiryat Shmona Airport is a public Israeli airport located 2 km east of the northern town of Kiryat Shmona. Its history, based on lack of economic viability and local political differences, has seen various closures and reopenings. Arkia handled domestic flights until end of 2003, when it closed down due to a lack of passenger traffic.
