White Mosque (Nazareth)

The White Mosque is the oldest mosque in Nazareth, Israel and is located in Harat Alghama or the "Mosque Quarter" in the center of Nazareth's Old Market. Its exquisite pencil-shaped minaret, cream-coloured walls, green trim and green dome are just one example of the Ottoman architecture common throughout the city.

Mary's Well

Mary’s Well is reputed to be located at the site where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced that she would bear the Son of God - an event known as the Annunciation. Found just below the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in modern-day Nazareth, the well was positioned over an underground spring that served for centuries as a local watering hole for the Arab villagers.

Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation

The Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, also known as the Church of St. Gabriel or St. Gabriel's Greek Orthodox Church, is an Eastern Orthodox church in Nazareth, Israel. Likely first established in Byzantine-era Palestine, it was rebuilt during the time of the Crusades, and again in the 18th century under the rule of Daher el-Omar, the Arab governor of the Galilee.

Max Stern Academic College of Emek Yezreel

Max Stern Academic College of Emek Yezreel (המכללה האקדמית עמק יזרעאל) is a college located in the Jezreel Valley of Israel, between the cities Afula and Nazareth, and next to Kfar Gid'on, Tel Adashim and Mizra. Founded in 1965 as Emek Yezreel College, Max Stern College later served as a regional branch of Hebrew University from 1973 to 1994.
