Castle of Sant'Aniceto
The Castle of Sant'Aniceto (also San Niceto) is a Byzantine castle built in the early 11th century on a hill in Motta San Giovanni, now in the province of Reggio Calabria, southern Italy. It is one of the few examples of High Middle Ages architecture in Calabria, as well as one of the few well-preserved Byzantine fortifications in the world. The name derives from that of St. Nicetas, a Byzantine admiral who lived in the 7th-8th centuries.

Pellaro is the southernmost quarter of the commune of Reggio Calabria, southern Italy. It has approximately 13,000 inhabitants. The town is located on the 38° latitude, which is shared by the cities of Seoul, Athens, San Francisco and Córdoba. A monument was erected in 1987 to indicate this.

Punta di Pellaro
Punta di Pellaro is the extreme southwestern point of mainland Italy, in the region of Calabria, looking towards the east coast of Sicily, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|01|N|15|38|E||| | |name= }}. Anciently, a promontory of Bruttium, it was in consequence of its location generally regarded as the termination of the chain of the Apennines. Pliny tells us it was 12 miles from Rhegium. The whiteness of the rocks composing this headland gave origin to the ancient name.

The Stadio Oreste Granillo is a football stadium in Reggio Calabria, Italy. It is the home of Reggina Calcio. The stadium was built in 1999 on the foundations of Comunale and holds 27,763. It is named after former Reggina president Oreste Granillo who led the club to Serie B for the first time and became mayor of the city.
