Lago di Fondi

Lake Fondi (Italian: Lago di Fondi, Latin: Lacus Fundanus, Lacus Amyclanus) is a brackish lake about 90 km to the southeast of Rome in the Province of Latina, Lazio, Italy, in the region called Sud or "South" Pontino, the western end of which is the Piana di Fondi, "Plain of Fondi". Parco Nazionale del Circeo

The Parco Nazionale del Circeo is an Italian national park founded in 1934. It occupies a strip of coastal land from Anzio to Terracina, including also a sector of forest in the mainland of San Felice Circeo, and the island of Zannone. The park was established by order of Benito Mussolini, under advice from Senator Raffaele Bastianelli, to preserve the last remains of the Pontine Marshes which were being reclaimed in that period.

Capo Circeo Lighthouse

Capo Circeo Lighthouse (Italian: Faro di Capo Circeo) is a lighthouse in Lazio, Italy, located on Punto, about 3 kilometres west of San Felice Circeo. The lighthouse has been active since 1866, and was built under the pontificate of Pope Pius IX. The lighthouse is composed of a building inhabited by white farista with an adjacent tower 18 meters high. The lighthouse has a rotating view that emits flashes of white light every 5 seconds.

Fossanova Abbey

Fossanova Abbey, earlier Fossa Nuova, is a Cistercian monastery in Italy, in the province of Latina, near the railway-station of Priverno, c. 100 kilometers south-east of Rome. It is the finest example of a Cistercian abbey, and of the Burgundian Early Gothic style, in Italy, and dates from the end of the 12th to the end of the 13th century. The church (1187-1208) is closely similar to that of Casamari and also of the great church at Citeaux.

Piperno

Piperno (ancient Privernum), is a town of the province of Rome in Lazio region, central Italy. It is 98 km southeast of Rome by rail. The population of the town in 1901 was 6,736. The town has a picturesque piazza, with a Gothic cathedral built in 1283. A Gothic palazzo pubblico and other Gothic churches exist in the town. Polygonal terrace walls of the pre-Roman period exist at various places in the vicinity. It was the birthplace of the canonist Reginald of Piperno.
