The Province of Bergamo (Italian: Provincia di Bergamo) is a province in the Lombardy region of Italy. It has a population of 1,098,740 (2010), an area of 2,722.86 square km, and contains 244 comuni. Its capital is the city of Bergamo. Museo Matris Domini

The Museo Matris Domini is housed in the oldest section of the Dominican convent of the same name, situated in the city centre of Bergamo, Italy. It is administered by the nuns of the foundation. The museum preserves a series of 13th and 14th Century frescoes which were uncovered in a 1973 restoration of what was thought to have been the old refectory and a small church within the monastery.

Trezzo sull'Adda Bridge

The Trezzo sull'Adda Bridge or Trezzo Bridge was a medieval bridge at Trezzo sull'Adda in Lombardy, Italy, spanning the Adda river. Completed in 1377, the single arch bridge held the record for the largest span for over four hundred years, until the beginnings of the Industrial Age, while it was not until the early 20th century that masonry bridges with larger openings were constructed. The Trezzo Bridge was built between 1370 and 1377 by order of the lord of Milan Bernabò Visconti.
