Alta Badia

Alta Badia is a ski resort in the Dolomites of northern Italy, in the upper part of the Val Badia in South Tyrol. It is included in the territories of the municipalities of Corvara, Badia, and La Val. Centered around Corvara, the extended area's lift-served summit elevation is 2,550 m on the Sella group, with an overall vertical drop of 1,226 m to Pedraces. The native language of the majority of the locals is Ladin.

Würzjoch

Würzjoch (el.  2003 m. ) is a mountain pass in the province of South Tyrol in Italy. It connects the city of Brixen in the Eisacktal with San Martin de Tor in the Val Gardena. The pass road is in good condition, but narrow and closed in winter. On the south side, the road is open during winter up to the Plose ski resort.

Sella group

The Sella is a plateau shaped massif in the Dolomites mountains of northern Italy. The Sella lies north of the Marmolada and to the east of the Langkofel. The highest peak is Piz Boè at 3,151 m above sea level. The Sella lies between the four Ladin valleys of Badia, Gherdëina, Fascia, and Fodom and is divided between the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. It can be driven around by car crossing the Campolongo Pass, Pordoi Pass, Sella Pass, and Gardena Pass.
