Sant'Andrea in Percussina is a frazione of San Casciano Val di Pesa in the province of Florence, Tuscany, Italy. It is a small village of ancient origin and one of the most picturesque places in the area between San Casciano Val di Pesa and Florence. Niccolò Machiavelli wrote his treatise The Prince at his home here, the Albergaccio, where he lived when in exile.

Florence American Cemetery and Memorial

The Florence American Cemetery and Memorial is about 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) south of Florence, Italy, about two miles (3 km) south of the Florence-Impruneta exit of the Rome-Milan autoroute. It covers about 70 acres, chiefly on the west side of the Greve river, framed by wooded hills. Most of those buried here are from the Fifth Army who died in the fighting that followed the capture of Rome in June 1944; others fell in the heavy fighting in the Apennines between then and 2 May 1945.

Fonte di Fata Morgana

The Fonte di Fata Morgana, locally called the Casina delle Fate (Summerhouse of the Fates), at Grassina, not far from Florence, Italy, in the comune of Bagno a Ripoli, is a small garden building, built in 1573–4 as a garden feature in the extensive grounds of the Villa Riposo of Bernardo Vecchietti on the slope of the hill called Fattucchia.
