Japanese cruiser Chishima was an unprotected cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The name Chishima (lit. "Thousand Islands") is the Japanese name for the Kurile Islands. Chishima was used by the Imperial Japanese Navy as an aviso (dispatch boat) for scouting, reconnaissance and delivery of high priority messages.

Matsuyama Station (Ehime)

Matsuyama Station is a JR Shikoku railway station on the Yosan Line located in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The central station of the prefectural capital is on the Yosan line between Takamatsu, Kagawa and Uwajima, Ehime. Express trains head from Matsuyama to Okayama on Honshū, connecting with the Sanyō Shinkansen, and also to Takamatsu. The Okayama service is known as the Shiokaze and the Takamatsu service is known as the Ishizuchi (the name of the highest mountain on Shikoku).

Matsuyama University

Matsuyama University is a private university in Matsuyama, Ehime, Japan. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1923, and it was chartered as a university in 1949. The present name was adopted in 1989. Shiho Ochi and Kōichi Tabo of Superfly are alumni.
