Kagoshima Bay

is a deep inlet on the coast of Japan. Kagoshima Bay is on the south coast of the island of Kyūshū. The port city of Kagoshima and its well-protected harbor lie on the bay's western coast. The Bombardment of Kagoshima by British warships in the bay took place in 1863. The 1914 eruption of the volcano Ontake, located on the island of Sakurajima in the bay, severely damaged Kagoshima.

The Kagoshima Botanical Garden, variously known as Kagoshima Tropical Botanical Garden, Kagoshima Tropical Vegetation Park, or Kagoshima Prefecture Botanical Gardens, is a botanical garden located at 1-7-15 Yojiro, Kagoshima, Kagoshima, Japan. Kagoshima Kamoike Stadium

Kagoshima Kamoike Stadium, also known as Kamoike Kagoshima Prefectural Sports Park Athletic Stadium (鹿児島県立鴨池運動公園陸上競技場), is a multi-purpose stadium in Kagoshima, Japan. It is currently used mostly for football and rugby union matches. It is the home stadium of Volca Kagoshima and F.C. Kagoshima of the Kyūshū League and Je Vrille Kagoshima of the women's L. League West. The stadium was originally opened in 1972 and has an official capacity of 19,952 spectators.
