Suizen-ji Jōju-en

Suizen-ji Jōju-en is a tsukiyama Japanese garden located within (Suizen-ji Park in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. The main tsukiyama is a representation of Mount Fuji. Lord Hosokawa Tadatoshi began construction of the garden in 1636 as a tea retreat. The park was named after a no-longer-extant Buddhist temple called Suizen-ji, and now hosts Izumi Shrine, where members of the Hosokawa family are enshrined, and a Nōgaku-dō, a Noh theater.

Shokei College

Shokei College is a private university in Kumamoto, Kumamoto, Japan. The predecessor of the school, small girl's school, was founded in 1888, and it was chartered as a junior women's college in 1952. In 1975, Shokei University was established and the junior women's college was renamed to Shokei Junior College. In 2006, the two schools merged.
