Kuni-kyō

Kuni-kyō (恭仁京, or Kuni no miyako), was the capital city of Japan between 740 and 744, whose imperial palace (恭仁宮 Kuni-kyū or Kuni no miya) built in present-day city of Kizugawa in Kyoto Prefecture by order of Emperor Shōmu.

Kizu Station (Kyoto)

Kizu Station is a railway station located in Kizugawa, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It is the junction point between the Yamatoji Line, the Nara Line and the Gakkentoshi Line. Gakkentoshi Line trains terminate here, while Nara Line trains continue on the Kansai Line to Nara. Yamatoji Line trains from Osaka and JR Namba continue one stop more to Kamo.
